Privacy Policy — Ali Barber Woburn Sands

1. Data Controller

Ali Barber Woburn Sands ("we", "the Salon") is the data controller for personal data processed through this app. The app is developed and maintained by Hazher on behalf of the Salon.

2. Information We Collect

• Identity & contact: Name, email address (from Apple or Google sign-in), phone number if provided.
• Booking data: Appointment dates, services selected, stylist preference, visit history.
• Technical data: Device push notification tokens, app usage necessary to operate the service.
• Communications: Enquiries submitted through the app.

We do not collect payment card details in the app unless a future payment feature is explicitly introduced.

3. Legal Basis (UK GDPR)

We process data on the basis of:

• Contract — to manage bookings and your account;
• Legitimate interests — to operate the Salon, prevent fraud, and improve services;
• Consent — where required for marketing (not sent without opt-in).

4. How We Use Your Data

• To create and manage your account.
• To process, confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments.
• To send service notifications (booking confirmations, reminders, schedule changes).
• To allow Salon staff to manage the appointment diary.
• To comply with legal obligations.

5. Sharing & Processors

We use Supabase (hosting and database), Apple Push Notification service, and sign-in providers (Apple, Google) to deliver the app. These processors act under appropriate data processing agreements. We do not sell your personal data.

6. Retention

Account and booking records are kept as long as needed to provide services and meet legal and accounting requirements. You may request deletion via Profile → Delete Account in the app.

7. Security

We apply industry-standard technical and organisational measures including encrypted connections and row-level database access controls.

8. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Contact the Salon or kontakt@hazher.no to exercise these rights. You may complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

9. Children

The app is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect children's data.

10. International Transfers

Data may be processed in the UK/EEA or countries with adequate safeguards via our hosting providers.

11. Changes

We will update this Policy when practices change. The latest version is always available in the app and at this URL.
